Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager Submission Guidelines 1996

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager Submission Guidelines 1996

What was I up to in the mid-90s? Trying to write for Star Trek, of course.

The Star Trek shows were one of the only, if not the only, TV shows to have an open submission policy. I fooled around and missed the opportunity to submit to The Next Generation. However, I was very young at the time.

When DS9 and Voyager came around, I was ready. I got my hands on the submission guidelines and set about brainstorming an idea.

I was attempting to write a DS9 script. I was going to introduce Kira’s younger brother, who was going to carry out a suicide bombing against the Cardassians.

Alas, I never finished the telepaly and never submitted to the show.

I found the DS9 and VOY submission guidelines from 1996

Cleaning out old cloests leads to many discoveries. Here are the guidlelines for DS9 and VOY from way back.
