The Monster Professor (author, professor, and podcaster Josh Woods) returns to the show for a fascinating discussion about whether or not dragons are monsters, how Frankenstein the novel differs from the film portrayals, orcs, and goblins.
Josh gives advice on how to make goblins dangerous again in tabletop RPGs by referencing Gremlins 2. Plus we dash in some thoughts on unicorns, Grendal, Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and more for good measure.

Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus
If you have not read Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, I highly encourage you to do so. It is a seminal work of modern Western literature. The cultural influence stretches far beyond the silly satire and cartoonish brutes.
